The Delivery 11.180’s sales success is not limited to Brazil. The model is also among the brand's most exported vehicles, reaching approximately 30 countries where the company operates across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. In Brazil alone—its largest consumer market—more than 6,500 units were registered in 2025, representing a growth of approximately 10% compared to 2024.
With rising demand, the VW Delivery 11.180 accounted for more than half of all new medium-duty truck sales in the country in 2025. Among its largest buyers is VAMOS, a leader in heavy vehicle leasing and Brazil's largest pre-owned truck dealer, which acquired units to diversify its portfolio and expand solution options for its clients. “The Delivery 11.180 is an asset that is very well-accepted in the market, reinforcing our confidence in both the operation and the vehicle's lifecycle. In addition to contributing to fleet standardization with consistent performance, it maintains high demand and liquidity, supporting our strategy of operational efficiency and intelligent asset management, focusing on availability, cost predictability, and productivity for the customer,” says Gustavo Couto, CEO of VAMOS.
The combination of robustness, versatility, and operational efficiency makes the Delivery 11.180 an adaptable solution for various markets. In Brazil, its performance follows a shift in truck demand, marked by the rise of medium and semi-heavy models. In this scenario, the Delivery 11.180 not only led sales but also strengthened its role by increasing its share in the medium segment by 20%, capturing over 50% of the Brazilian market—a nine-percentage-point increase.
“This result reinforces how the Delivery 11.180 has been excellently meeting the demands of an increasingly adaptable market. Its set of technical and operational differentiators gives transporters exactly what they need to grow,” says Ricardo Alouche, Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After-Sales at Volkswagen Truck & Bus.
Already considered the traditional leader in its segment, the 2025 peak and its position as a market favorite reflect the product's quality and its growing relevance in Brazilian transportation, according to the executive. “Customers demand vehicles that are increasingly economical, versatile, and prepared for intense routines. The Delivery 11.180 is gaining momentum and reaffirming its strategic importance by combining robustness, technology, and versatility for various urban and regional applications,” he concludes.
