Volkswagen Truck and Bus has just launched its most modern truck line in Chile. The brand's entire Euro 6 portfolio arrives in the market, with a complete package of new solutions. The vehicles bring new levels of efficiency, comfort, technology, and safety, aiming to maintain VWTB's growth pace in the country. In the first ten months of the year, the sales increase is 9% compared to the same period in 2024, and Chile consolidates itself as the automaker's third-largest international market.
"The new generation of Volkswagen trucks is spectacular and has been developed and perfected by our engineers for maximum customer satisfaction, tailored to their operations. We are on a growing trend in the market and are confident that the new line will maintain this position," says Frank Gundlach, Director of International Markets at VWTB.
Among the major highlights are its active safety technologies for all models. Precision for starting on ramps (Hill Start Aid), greater stability in curves, maximum grip on the ground, in addition to braking controls, are some of the intelligent solutions incorporated into the VW vehicles, which are already available as standard from the factory.
Currently VW's best-selling model in the country and leader in its category, the Constellation 17.280 will have strong replacements with the new Constellation 18.260 and 18.320, which bring gains in load capacity, power, and torque. This evolution well represents the improvements across the entire line. The vehicles join the more than 20 new trucks that will be available to Chilean customers.
This is the largest product line renewal ever carried out by Volkswagen Truck and Bus, with significant evolutions. The result is a portfolio that offers, on average, up to 10% more efficiency, with innovations in comfort, safety, and technology. The new models are already available at the brand's 15 dealerships throughout Chilean territory. This is the fourth country to offer the new generation of VW trucks.
