Volkswagen Truck & Bus had a giant presence at Fenatran 2024. In a 3,600 m² stand, the largest at the fair held in São Paulo, our sustainable vehicles stood out: the new Constellation 26.280 Biogas and the Meteor Hybrid prototype, along with the new and more efficient generation of the e-Delivery.
“Our Resende factory in Brazil will also contribute to this sustainable journey, adding 10% green diesel HVO to the first supply of its products on the assembly line. As the sales leader in the Brazilian truck market, we take our position at the forefront to bring innovative concepts to the freight transport sector that can help guide the next generations of commercial vehicles,” says Roberto Cortes, president and CEO of Volkswagen Truck & Bus.
Complete portfolio of solutions for freight transport
With options ranging from light commercial vehicles to heavy-duty trucks, VWTB offers a wide range for its customers' needs, and now this family has grown. The big news is the Constellation 20.480, the most powerful in its category of 4x2 tractors, with a gross vehicle weight of 56 tons, ideal for medium and long-distance applications with large-volume loads. Also coming to market are the new Constellation 25.480 HD and Meteor 28.480 HD, debuting with reinforced axles for higher load capacity. For the Meteor line, another benefit is the availability of an engine brake, providing high braking power during mountain descents.
Volkswagen Truck & Bus is also evolving with its technological package, called Highline, which offers the brand’s most modern instrument panel, 100% digital and 10 inches in size, in addition to a 7-inch next-generation multifunctional multimedia center and more integrated solutions, such as the ability to remotely lock the vehicle via the RIO platform and integration with the new VolksConnect app. This offers the concept of a truck in the palm of your hand, allowing users to control functions and access information with just a few clicks on their smartphone.
Speaking of connected solutions, the new Trucker Assist is an app focused on the driver’s journey to make vehicle management and experience easier, providing more collaboration throughout the daily route. It is part of the brand's service platform, VolksCare, which strengthens its operations to ensure greater availability, efficiency, and safety for its customers, supported by a universe of solutions in its strategy.
The largest booth at the fair to attract visitors
With 3,600 square meters, the VWTB booth is the largest, expanding customer experiences. In addition to enjoying various commercial negotiation conditions at the fair and discovering all the news from Volkswagen Truck & Bus, qualified visitors will be able to take a test drive with the new Constellation 20.480, the e-Delivery 11t, and the Meteor 29.530 on the external circuit of the fair. The booth itself is an attraction, with 20 vehicles on display, and also entertains the public with a Copa Truck driving simulator, giving users the chance to drive a Volkswagen race truck.
Visitors can capture a memory of this moment with a 180° photo activation and learn more about the company’s internationalization efforts, showcasing the brand's participation worldwide. Also highlighted will be its ESG-centered policies, with guidelines and actions focused on VWTB's sustainability, alongside the exclusive VolksCare service solutions area, where customers can win prizes. Partners from brands such as BMB, VolksConfia, VW Truck Rental, and Consórcio Maggi have dedicated spaces. All this to ensure visitors have the best Fenatran of all time.
