Andreas Renschler was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1958.
He completed training as a banker and earned degrees in business engineering and business administration. Renschler began his career at Daimler-Benz AG in 1988. He took over the M Class unit as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz US in 1993. After a brief stint as Senior Vice President of DaimlerChrysler AG, responsible for Executive Management Development, Renschler was named President of smart GmbH. In 2004, he became a member of the Daimler AG Board of Management for the Daimler Trucks Division. He was appointed a Member of the Daimler AG Board of Management responsible for Manufacturing and Procurement for the Cars & Vans Division in 2013.

Antonio Roberto Cortes
CEO MAN Latin America Ltda
Antonio Roberto Cortes was born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1955.
Cortes studied business and finance, and began his career in the auto industry in 1979. He cofounded Autolatina, a joint venture between Ford and Volkswagen in Brazil and Argentina. Cortes headed up the Business Strategy unit at Ford in Detroit (USA) from 1989 to 1990. After the dissolution of Autolatina in 1994, he took over the position of Corporate Controller for South America at Volkswagen. In 1998, he led the transition of Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus (now MAN Latin America) to an independent business unit and took charge of the South American business in 2000. Two years later, Cortes was named Executive Vice President of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Antonio Roberto Cortes has been CEO of MAN Latin America Ltda. since 2009. He is also a member of the Board of Management at MAN SE and a member of Management at Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH.
Chief Financial Officer Finance & Business Development
Matthias Gründler was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1965.
He completed training as an industrial management assistant and studied economics. Gründler joined Daimler AG in 1989. After holding a variety of management positions in Germany and abroad, he was named Chief Finance Officer at Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks & Bus Corp. in Japan in 2008. Three years later, he took over management of the Powertrain Procurement and Business Development unit at Daimler Trucks & Buses. He served as Chief Finance Officer of Daimler Trucks & Buses, responsible for Finance and Controlling, from 2012 to 2015.
Since September 2015, Matthias Gründler has been Chief Finance Officer at Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH and coordinates the Group’s finances and business development
CEO MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus AG
Joachim Drees was born in Düsseldorf (Germany) in 1964.
He studied business administration and earned an MBA. After graduation, he worked at various management consulting firms and the Treuhandanstalt privatization agency in Berlin. Starting in 1996, Drees held management positions at the Daimler Truck Group and Mercedes-Benz Trucks, including Commercial Director of the Gaggenau Transmissions Unit and Head of Commercial Vehicle Controlling. In 2006, Drees became a Partner for Portfolio Management at HgCapital LLP, a British investment company. He then became CFO of Drees & Sommer AG in 2012.
Joachim Drees has been CEO of MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus AG since 2015. He is also a member of Management at Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH.
CEO Scania AB
Henrik Henriksson was born in Sweden in 1970.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Henriksson began his career in 1997 as a management trainee with Scania AB. Starting in 1999, he held a number of management positions in marketing at Scania, including Export Director at Scania South Africa Pty Ltd in Johannesburg (South Africa). Henriksson was named a member of the Scania Management Board in 2012, responsible for Sales and Marketing.

Chief Technical Officer
Anders Nielsen was born in Sundbyberg (Sweden) in 1962.
After earning a degree in industrial management, he started his career in 1987 with Scania AB. In 1995, he took charge of plant management at Scania’s transmission production facility in Sibbhult (Sweden). Two years later, he was made plant manager at the Scania facility in Oskarshamn (Sweden). In 2002, Nielsen transferred to Brazil as Technical Director at Scania Latin America. After his return to Sweden in 2006, he headed up Chassis and Cab Production at Scania as Senior Vice President. In 2010, he was named to the Scania AB Executive Board, responsible for Production and Logistics. From 2012 to 2015, Nielsen served as CEO of MAN Truck & Bus AG.
Since April 2015, Anders Nielsen has coordinated Research and Development at the Volkswagen Truck & Bus Group as its Chief Technical Officer.
Dr. Carsten Intra
Chief Human Resources Officer
Carsten Intra was born in Koblenz (Germany) in 1971.
He studied mechanical engineering and then economics, earning his doctorate degree in 2000. Dr. Intra started his career in 2001 as a Production Engineer with MAN Commercial Vehicles AG, where he was named Head of the Cab Services department in the same year. After holding several management positions, he took charge of the Heavy-Duty Trucks business unit in 2006. Starting in 2007, he was also responsible for the Standard Bus unit as CEO of MAN operations in Turkey for half a year. From 2009 to 2012, Dr. Intra headed up Production and Logistics at MAN Latin America. In 2012, he became a Member of the Executive Board at MAN Truck & Bus AG, responsible initially for Production and Logistics, then also for Research and Development starting in 2015.
Dr. Carsten Intra was named Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Employee Relations at MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus AG as well as Executive Manager of HR at Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH.
Chief Procurement Officer
Dirk Große-Loheide was born in Germany in 1964.
He studied economics and completed training as a banker. Große-Loheide joined Volkswagen AG in 1990 and held a number of positions in the areas of procurement and logistics with the Volkswagen Group. In 1995, he took charge of Procurement Marketing at SEAT S.A. and then headed up General Procurement from 1997 to 2000. He joined the Executive Management at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in May 2000, responsible for Procurement and Logistics. Since 2007, he has been a Member of the Board of Management at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, responsible for Procurement and Production. He served as Director of General Group Procurement at Volkswagen AG.
Dirk Große-Loheide has been a Member of the Board of Management at MAN Truck & Bus AG since March 2017 and responsible across the Group for procurement at Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH.
Dr. Eckhard Scholz
CEO Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles
Dr. Eckhard Scholz was born in Germany.
He holds a doctorate degree in engineering and joined the Volkswagen Group in 1991. From 1996 to 2007, he held a variety of management positions in technical development at Volkswagen, the last of which was Head of Body Development. In April 2007, Scholz was named a Member of the Executive Management at Škoda Auto, a.s., in charge of Development. Starting in 2012, Dr. Scholz became Brand Spokesman and Member of the Executive Board of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, responsible for Development.
Dr. Eckhard Scholz has been CEO of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles since 2014.
